Job Description: Packaging Information Manager

The Lorraine Bakery Company (LLBC) is a 100% Canadian-owned company with over 80 years of experience in the bakery and milling industry. As the Packaging Information Manager, your role is crucial in managing and maintaining all information related to packaging. Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain a current database of packaging information
• Scrutinize technical and quality-related documents from packaging suppliers
• Sanction packaging supplier's information according to customer's specific requirements and applicable laws
• Interpret legislation regarding packaging and assess its effects on products
• Spread packaging knowledge and requirements to relevant parties
• Provide accurate answers to inquiries from external customers
• Collaborate with specialists and purchasing department to ensure compliance
• Maintain and update packaging information regularly

Requirements:

• Proven experience in packaging materials, food safety, or related field
• Analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools/software (MS Office, SAP)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Good knowledge of English
