Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a detailed production plan based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
• Communicate with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to synchronize the planning process with business objectives.
• Review production data and performance statistics to identify trends and locate opportunities for improvement.
• Identify production planning shortcomings and take the lead on proposed solutions to correct them.
• Optimize inventory levels and manage flows to minimize costs and maximize operational efficiency.
• Participate in initiatives promoting continuous improvement and process optimization in the production department.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, transportation, business management, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience in production planning, specifically in the food industry.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand complex information.
• Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude and ability to respond to immediate changes in circumstances.
• ERP experience and the use of planning software is an advantage.
