The Microsoft Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) Industry Team is responsible for leading the mission through close collaboration with a leading healthcare and life sciences organization. They bring together the Microsoft portfolio of solutions, partners, and ecosystems in order to help customers achieve their greatest potential and to enable new life changing capabilities. The Microsoft healthcare and life sciences team takes an active role in encouraging customers to utilize digital technology. This team envisions new ways to serve customers, proposes solutions that have a targeted effect on business results and increases revenue for Microsoft.

Responsibilities: As an Industry advisor - Pharma, Life Sciences and MedTech, you will have the opportunity to promote industry-oriented sales for Microsoft and facilitate the transformation of customers through a combination of strategic guidance, and industry and technical knowledge. This position is accountable for the start of sales and the induction of conversations with customers that are led by the industry. Accountability is the process of developing and achieving market goals that benefit the customer, and causing a transformational effect on the customer.

As an Industry Advisor - Pharma, Life Sciences and MedTech, you will have the industry's subject matter expertise in terms of digital transformation of business, you will engage with senior decision makers to identify, create and maintain new business opportunities. You will describe and explain the long-term benefits of using Microsoft's products, partners and solutions in conjunction with your colleagues and you will close the deal.

Main responsibilities: Leverage pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences and MedTech to accelerate digital transformation with Microsoft's Cloud platform, this will lead to a new form of revenue and growth. Originate new revenue opportunities and growth.

Qualifications necessary/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs):

Prior experience at a Business Strategy Consulting (McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG or equivalent) OR at a competing cloud and technology company (Oracle, IBM, SAP, salesforce.com, VMWare, Cisco, Amazon or equivalent) preferred.
