Everyone has the right to travel every day: to work, to school, or to their personal space. We want to provide all customers with a safe, reliable, and sustainable transport system, from door to door, where our trains play a key role in the transportation of large numbers of passengers between major centers and in suburban areas. for access to more rural areas. The headquarters is located in the Atrium building at Hallepoortlaan 40 in Brussels, adjacent to Brussels-South train station.

How is it possible to make a difference? The expert fleet engineer enhances the "management of flows from the technical department" and "the immobilization of flows from the technical department". This department is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and development of new rolling stock. The goal is to provide customers with a sufficient quantity of safe, reliable, and comfortable rolling stock suitable for operational and commercial purposes, enabling them to receive a quality service.

You will work closely with Senior Experts in fleet management, transversal project groups (traction workshops, central workshops, study services, supply chain, Management of Transport Operations, Passenger Transport & Safety, etc.). They have the organizational contact number and are the primary point of contact within the organization.

You will actively monitor the technical series topics and projects assigned to you and autonomously supervise these teams to achieve results. You will focus on both technical and organizational improvements to the entire rolling stock maintenance process (including work instructions, work quality, supply chain management, information gathering, technical enhancements, and equipment distribution). By setting priorities, closely monitoring (services + actions taken), increasing the involvement of everyone, and fostering team spirit, you can facilitate the necessary improvements. You create procedures and investigations that are generic in nature, facilitating anticipation of future situations.
