How can you make a difference? As a mechanical tester, you ensure that the trains have a solid mechanical system. You conduct mechanical experiments and identify faults and solutions. What is your role at the NMBS?

• You perform mechanical analyses of train sets.
• You conduct tests on the braking system and identify faults in the brake system.
• You assess the effectiveness of train doors and make adjustments.
• You assess and evaluate the pneumatic systems.
• You conduct mechanical analyses.
• You assess the functionality of the electrical components in the ABS system.
• You assess the functionality of the door controls.
• You determine additional actions to be taken.
• You discuss the findings of the tests conducted.
• You propose solutions to address challenging situations.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in 'Industrial Sciences and Technology,' a degree in Mechanics, 'Electromechanics,' or an equivalent diploma.
2. Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00).
3. In terms of technical skills, you should possess:
   • A basic knowledge of physics and chemistry.
   • Experience in working with electrical and pneumatic systems.
4. Desired qualities:
   • Openness to learning.
   • Readiness to take responsibility and manage stress effectively.
   • Respect for specific safety regulations.
   • Strong communication skills.
